Senior Hardware Design Engineer

Description and Responsibilities:

We are looking for a person to design board-level hardware systems for high speed wireless applications, job function would cover the whole board design life cycle from functional specification, schematics entry, engineering outsourcing, system debugging, and performance/conformance testing.

Requirements:

Experience in the following areas of expertise is desired:

• RF (2-10GHz) PCB board and system design
• High-speed PCB design with SI analysis and/or EM modeling
• FPGA/CPLD logic design and its board implementation
• Consumer Electronics systems
• Wireless PAN or LAN or WAN, and/or mobile systems
• Low-noise, high-efficiency on-board power regulation circuits

Experience in the following as well is beneficial but not required:

• Knowledge of embedded system software and host communication
• Experience in system or subsystem packaging design
• Knowledge of communications specification or standards: PCI, Ethernet, etc.

Experience in implementing high quality product or reference design hardware is highly desired. Experience in mixed signal IC characterization is also highly desirable. Candidates should be able to address a variety of issues in hardware system design to meet both functional and regulatory requirements.

Candidates must have M.S in Electrical Engineering or related field and 3+ years of working experience in a related technical field. Alternatively the candidate must have at least 5+ years of experience in hardware system development.
