Staff or Principal Test Engineer

Description and Responsibilities:  SiBEAM is seeking an experienced and energetic RF IC Test Engineer to develop production test capability for our 60GHz highly integrated wireless devices.  Responsibility includes innovation and implementation of test methods, systems and programs, including hardware design and development for characterization, production test and wafer sort.  The position will interact significantly with both the operations and engineering organizations.

Requirements:

  • Experience with automated test equipment like LTX, Teradyne, Agilent, and Credence.

  • Design load boards and probe cards, correlate ATE and bench test results, develop and qualify test programs, measure repeatability, and calculate limits.

  • Solid understanding of RF transceiver systems from block diagram including components such as LNA, Mixer, Transmitter, PA, etc.

  • A BSEE degree and at least 10 years of experience in RF production testing; MSEE preferred.

  • Good hands-on test and debug experience.

  • Demonstrated manufacturing discipline and production experience.

  • Experience with RF test bench equipment, including, but not limited to, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Noise Figure Meters, and Power Meters, is highly desirable.

  • Experience with mixed signal devices such as ADCs and DACs is helpful.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.

  • Experience with millimeter-wave devices is preferable but not required
